The sky, our starting point

AVIOSMA is a new division of the SMA group, founded in late 2020 for the design and manufacturing of light aircraft.

The Sky, Our Starting Point

From precision mechanics and robotic systems to the creation of flying machines.

Two opposing views lead to the same objective; this is the drive that makes it possible to design and create cutting-edge solutions.

AVIO SMA Aeronautical Mechanical Construction

AVIOSMA is a new division of the SMA group, founded in late 2020 for the design and manufacturing of light aircraft.

Our mission is to completely reinvent current manufacturing systems and processes in order to conceive manufactured products with automatic and robotic technologies.

To reach this goal, the production process of each component is performed automatically, via CNC-controlled machines and I4.0 and 5.0 robotic systems.

We believe our unconventional vision lays the foundation for the success and the innovation of our products.

DATA POWER

WHEN INFORMATION MATTERS MOST
DATA POWER is the world’s first instrument created to be installed on the main aeronautical engines on the market.
AVIOSMA Engine AS993
Via this advanced mechatronics tool, it is possible to detect the driving torque in real time. Thanks to dedicated electronics, this value is converted into a power signal, and can be displayed on analogue or digital devices. This tool allows the monitoring of the correct conditions and performance of your engine.
